Britian (pronounced like the country- Great "Britain") is an actor originally from right outside Chicago. Growing up as one of four kids with two very strong parents in the suburban Midwest taught Britian how to be a loyal daughter, sister, twin, best friend, school-crazed, Harry Potter reading, extracurricular obsessed, live music-loving, late-night dwelling, dramatic story telling, stubborn, frustrated musician, athlete, and overly sensitive explorer of coffee shops and craft stores. Eventually, she found her way towards a medium of expressing herself that didn't involve anymore unused scrapbooks or clarinets: acting.
Leaving the Midwest after high school, Britian was pulled to the east coast where she graduated from Boston University with a B.F.A. in Theatre Arts/Acting. While a student at BU, she spent a semester studying Shakespeare and Classical Theatre at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. She was selected to be one of six to study with Betty Buckley in her Musical Theatre Master Class series and was even chosen by the Dean of the College of Fine Arts to speak at the CFA Graduation Ceremony.
After graduating, Britian appeared Off-Broadway in a production of Neal Bell's MONSTER at the PTP/NYC: Atlantic Theater Company. Then she toured the country, hitting 27 states, with the Olney Theatre Center's National Players performing ROMEO AND JULIET and ANIMAL FARM in rep. Along with performing, Britian taught workshops to students all across the country spanning from "Shakespeare: The Actor's Journey" to "Playwriting" to "Building a Character". After seeing more than half the country and falling in love with new places, she came upon Tony-award winning regional theater Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and joined their young acting company. She worked there for 9 months where she understudied and performed in the mainstage productions, as well as two educational tours and a new play reading.
After working in Cincinnati, Britian continued to work regionally in theater until she decided to stop "hopping around" and make the move to New York City. She currently resides in Manhattan. Her sixteen year old self would be very proud.
Britian has a heart for yoga, running, Shakespeare, road trips, making pancakes and eating peanut butter.
